Today's comic is based off... well sort of a true story. I went for coffee a few days ago and the shop was advertizing their "New Salad Sandwiches" - as if this was a new thing. I suppose that because they aren't calling it a veggie sandwich (and possibly using the ingredients from popular salads) that it's supposed to seem like a revolutionary item. I just thought it was kind of silly that they took the semi-healthy item and put it inside a big sponge of empty calories. The cranky cynic in me couldn't help but make a comic about it.
