This comic is inspired by my first visit to Los Angeles. The grocery store prices are FAR different from the ones in Canada, and more often than not the product is much larger (and sweeter). The cinnamon buns for three dollars were an actual sale price I stumbled upon and i actually went as far as to pick them up and start walking away from the stand before I said to myself, "Wait... if I buy these, I'm just going to eat ALL of them... i don't want twelve cinnamon buns, i'm only buying them because they're cheap!" and I put them back.

All I can say is: I get it now, America... I get it.
