Last year, I sent Chris a small piece of obsidian that I picked up in Sicily about 10 years ago. He liked it so much that it got blogged in the news feed on the Obsidian site. So I inwardly resolved to get him a larger piece the next time I was in Italy.

Well I just got back from Italy, and while I was there, I visited Mount Etna again and got two larger pieces of obsidian. One of them was just huge, about ten pounds.

Shortly afterwards, I realized that I had a great idea for a new MegaCynics comic. So here it is! Enjoy.

Update: The weight of the obsidian is a little over 7.5 pounds.
